Full Time Office Manager

Pay: £22,611.25 Pro Rata

Brompton Hall is a North Yorkshire weekly boarding/day school in the village of Brompton 8 miles from Scarborough, for 70 KS2 to KS4 boys with SEMH and other associated special needs and learning difficulties. The school has a very positive ethos and has received Good reports from Ofsted for both education and care commenting how we all work together to provide an excellent environment for children to develop and flourish.

We are looking to appoint an organised, confident , reliable and hardworking office manager who has a positive attitude and the capacity to show initiative and  adopt a flexible approach to work systems and procedures. You will be responsible for the daily running of the office and must have knowledge and previous experience in Financial and Personnel matters. You will be closely workling with the Headteacher to assist in budgeting , meetings and other financial decisions. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent and accurate data entry skills. .You must also possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.

This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent, leading a team  and making decisions.This position will suit you if you have good interpersonal , presentation skills and a keen eye for detail. Previous management experience is essential .Ultimately the office manager should be able to improve company procedures and day to day operations.

This role will be broad and varied and has the potential to evolve over time thus giving the potential candidate the opportunity to progress within our school.

The hours are  8.00-17.00 Monday - Thursday and 8:00 - 14:30 Friday, term time only.
